Scholarship

Myles Mowbray is a graduate of St. Georges Technical High School, where he studied Biotechnology. During high school, he participated in HOSA, earning second place in the state competition for future health professionals and advancing to compete at the national level in Nashville, Tennessee.

Myles also belonged to the National Honor Society, completing more than 80 hours of community service and volunteer work. These experiences strengthened his commitment to leadership, service, and helping others.

This fall, Myles will attend the University of Delaware, where he will major in Applied Molecular Biology. His goal is to build a career in the healthcare and life sciences field, using science and research to make a positive impact on people's lives. Myles is honored to be selected as a recipient of the Stone Square Lodge No. 22 Scholarship and is grateful for the support as he continues his education.

Sy'Mir Queen is a focused and resilient scholar-athlete graduating from Middletown High School with a 4.0 GPA. A first-generation college student, Sy'Mir has maintained a record of academic honors since the third grade while excelling in AP and Honors coursework.

He has demonstrated strong leadership as a four-year varsity football player and as a mentor to youth athletes in the MOT program. An emerging entrepreneur, Sy'Mir also served as co-founder of the student-run business "CSJ Deliveries" through Business Professionals of America, successfully raising more than $2,000 for student initiatives.

His work ethic is further shown through his employment with the Town of Middletown and Metro Diner. This fall, Sy'Mir will attend Widener University, where he will major in Marketing and Finance. He aspires to build a career in realty and financial services, with a focus on helping others create generational wealth and giving back to the community that has supported his journey.

Taylor Fitzgerald is an accomplished scholar and dedicated leader graduating from Caravel Academy with a 4.34 GPA. As a College Board Advanced Placement Recognized Scholar, Taylor served as President of the Caravel Academy National Honor Society, where she helped lead several community-focused initiatives, including book drives and volunteer coordination for the Friendship House.

Her leadership is also evident on the athletic field as a varsity soccer goalkeeper and youth mentor, and in her spiritual community as Vice President of the New Elizabeth AME Church Young People's Department.

Taylor is a passionate advocate for representation and equity, particularly within the healthcare industry. She intends to dedicate her career to addressing health disparities for seniors and underrepresented populations. This fall, Taylor will attend Hampton University, where she will major in Management, carrying with her a strong commitment to professional excellence and community service.
