The Grand Lodge

Stone Square Lodge No. 22 is a constituent Lodge under the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware.

Every Prince Hall lodge in Delaware, including ours, stands under the authority and guidance of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware, F. & A.M.

The Grand Lodge sets the standards, traditions, and direction that every constituent lodge in the state follows, and it is the body through which Delaware's Prince Hall lodges connect to the wider fraternity. Stone Square Lodge No. 22 has stood under its authority since our charter in 1894.

Honorable Vandrick R. Hamlin Jr. was installed as the 32nd Most Worshipful Grand Master at the 177th Annual Communication in June 2026. Stone Square Lodge No. 22 looks forward to his leadership and continued growth across the jurisdiction.

The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware

Organized in 1849, the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware is the governing body of Prince Hall Freemasonry in the state. It carries forward the same legacy that began with Prince Hall and African Lodge No. 459 in Boston, extending that tradition of brotherhood, service, and leadership to every constituent lodge under its authority.

The Grand Lodge's home, known as the Grand East, is located in Dover. From there, the Grand Master and the Grand Line oversee the work of the Craft across Delaware, and every constituent lodge, including Stone Square Lodge No. 22, answers to that authority.
